Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Hits 3M Copies Sold, While Original Game Reaches 10M

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II hit 3 million copies sold, while the original title reached the milestone of 10 million units. The news was announced by the game’s developer, Warhorse Studios, via a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Within its first 24 hours, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II sold over 1 million copies, recouping its development costs on release day. In less than two weeks, the title’s sales approached 2 million units. The sequel passed the mark of 3 million copies sold in three months since its release on Feb. 4, 2025. Also, as of the time of writing, the game peaked with a concurrent players number of 256,206 on Steam and a “Very Positive” rating with 72,659 reviews.
Warhorse Studios also revealed that in three months, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II players have picked 194,719,132 locks, stolen 38.51 billion items, pickpocketed 132.31 million items, and spent 387 million hours drunk.
At the same time, the initial title of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series reached the milestone of 10 million copies sold in seven years after its release on Feb. 12, 2018.
According to the roadmap of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, the game will get three major paid expansions, each adding depth to protagonist Henry’s story:
- In the first one, called Summer: Brushes with Death, Henry aids a mysterious artist with a shadowy past, unraveling a story of intrigue and danger.
- The second planned DLC, Autumn: Legacy of the Forge, will offer players to step into Henry’s shoes one more time in order to delve into the history of his adoptive father, Martin, as Henry works to rebuild the forge in Kuttenberg.
- In the third expansion, Winter: Mysteria Ecclesia, Henry undertakes a covert mission to the Sedlec Monastery, where he must navigate the politics of a cloistered community and combat the spread of a deadly illness.
