The Rise of the Golden Idol has announced a launch date for its DLC, The Lemurian Phoenix – May 13, 2025.

The announcement was made via the game’s blog on Steam, declaring that The Lemurian Phoenix is coming to all the platforms where the original title is presented, including PC (both macOS and Windows), Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5|4. On Android and iOS, new content for The Rise of the Golden Idol will land via Netflix, the same way as the primary game and previous expansion, The Sins of New Wells. On top of that, The Lemurian Phoenix will be in the Detective Pass.

”Amidst the Lemurian aristocracy’s extravagant holiday celebrations, a murder ignites a complex conspiracy that reaches back to 1910. Return to the scene of the crime and uncover the truth.” described the upcoming new content game’s developer, Color Gray Games, and publisher, Playstack.

The Lemurian Phoenix brings five new scenarios:

  • Eternity’s End,
  • Ascension,
  • Royal Blood,
  • Revelation,
  • A Blaze of Glory.

It is worth noting that The Rise of the Golden Idol is a sequel to The Case of the Golden Idol, a detective puzzling game that won the ”Excellence in Design” award at the Independent Games Festival 2023.
