ASUS is about to launch the first Radeon ATS RX 9070 Golden Rabbit Overclocked Edition with 12 gigabytes of GDDR6 video memory (VRAM), which was recently revealed on its GPU page of the GPU.
AMD typically reserves its GRE GPUs for the Chinese market. In previous generations, models such as the Radeon RX 6750 GRE, RX 7600 GRE and RX 7900 GRE were launched under this banner. With the debut of RDNA 4 architecture, the Radeon RX 9070 GRE will mark the first RDNA 4-based GPU released exclusively for China. It is yet to be revealed whether this card will make it to the global market since only the RX 7900 GRE remains an exception.

This particular edition was previously spotted on the website of Chinese retailer JD and is expected to launch in China on May 8, 2025.
As per official data, Radeon ATS RX 9070 GRE will feature the same Navi 48 GPU used by the rest of the RX 9070 series graphics cards but will be the most cut-down configuration to make it more cost-effective. The card will offer a total of 3,072 cores clocked at up to 2,790 MHz, 12GB VRAM and a 192-bit bus interface with 18 Gbps memory dies for 432.0 GB/s bandwidth.
According to different retail listings, this particular model of the Radeon RX 9070 GRE is priced at approximately $620, with a pre-order discount bringing it down to around $600, which equates to approximately $480 when excluding China’s 20% VAT. Overall, the pricing seems to align closely with the $450 range claimed by the manufacturer.
