Five-Time EVO Champion to Skip EVO Japan 2025

- Five-time EVO champion Arslan ‘Ash’ Siddique won’t be able to attend Riyadh Clash and EVO Japan in 2025.
- Ash’s first major tournament triumph happened in 2010, when he won the Tekken 6 Grand Masters Championship.
- Arslan won his first major playing The King of Fighters series at the KOFGCC 2018 Tournament in Oman, Kuwait.
Encountering visa problems, five-time EVO champion Arslan ‘Ash’ Siddique won’t be able to attend Riyadh Clash and the world’s largest and longest-running fighting game tournament, EVO Japan, in 2025.
Arslan announced that he would miss the events via a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, in which he also mentioned he would come to LevelUpExpo, a three-day event at the Las Vegas Convention planned for April 25-27, 2025.
Ash’s first major tournament triumph happened in 2010, when he won the Tekken 6 Grand Masters Championship. Besides that Siddique won EVO Japan 2019 and 2023 as well EVO Las Vegas 2019, 2023 and 2024.
In 2023 he also led Pakistan to victory in the Tekken 7 Nations Cup, where his team defeated South Korea in the final and won a $500,000 prize.
Aside from his Tekken achievements, Arslan was also locally known for his proficiency in The King of Fighters series, winning his first major at the KOFGCC 2018 Tournament in Oman, Kuwait.
