Sony surprised gamers in Canada and Australia with a hike in price for PlayStation Plus Subscriptions. The hike in price was revealed on April 14, 2025. The price for Canada’s PlayStation Plus subscriptions increases are showcased below:
- PlayStation Plus Essential 12-month subscription: $110 from previous $95
- PlayStation Plus Extra 12-month subscription: $190 from previous $155
- PlayStation Plus Premium 12-month subscription: $225 from previous $190
The exact details for the Australian increase are not readily available – but a gamer did share an email revealing the new price for the PlayStation Plus Deluxe 12 month subscription, which costs AUD 214.95.
