The first screenshots of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake have leaked online via Virtuos Official website, as reported on the ResetERA forums. Revealed pictures include some comparisons that highlight the visual improvements of the game that was first launched in 2006.

The news a coming on the heels of another leak from the insider Jeff Grubb, who stated, speaking on April 14,2025, episode of Giant Bomb’s GameBreaking News, that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake will be shadowdropped next week.

As Gaming.News reported earlier this month, multiple insiders, including a trusted leaker NateTheHate, have reported that a remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion could drop anytime soon.
According to other reports remake is presumably developed on Unreal Engine 5, featuring updates to the game’s stamina system, revamped archery mechanics, reworked blocking mechanics, overhauled sneak mechanics and a redesigned heads-up display (HUD) aimed at improving clarity for players.
