On April 13, Team Falcons won their very first S-Tier tournament at PGL Bucharest 2025. They fought against G2 in the Grand Final, winning in a 3-0 fashion on their way to lift the trophy.

Team Falcons didn’t start the event hot. They almost got eliminated in the group stage as they suffered two straight losses against Complexity and GamerLegion. Their match in the third round of the group stage against paiN Gaming turned things around and allowed them to qualify for the playoffs with a 3-2 record. G2, on the other hand, had a great time in the group stage, qualifying with three straight wins.

In playoffs, G2 looked absolutely dominant, beating Virtus.pro and Complexity 2-0 on their way to the Grand Final. Team Falcons had dicey games, losing the first map against their first opponent, GamerLegion, before wrapping things up with two quick wins.

Their second opponent was FaZe Clan, who gave them a bit of a problem in the second map and pushed them to overtime. FaZe won that map, but the Falcons answered back with a 13-10 win on Mirage, the deciding map of the set.

In the Grand Final, G2 was absolutely outclassed by the Saudi organization. They did not reach double-digit round wins against Team Falcons, the highest being 8 in Ancient. Team Falcons won the tournament 3-0 over G2.

Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov was crowned MVP of the tournament, outclassing his upcoming replacement, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov.

Team Falcons have come close to winning an S-Tier quite a few times. They finished second at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, third at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice (IEM) 2024 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. The team now has its eyes on IEM Melbourne.
