Capcom Unveils Teaser Trailer of Street Fighter 6’s Newest Fighter, Elena

Street Fighter’s newest fighter, Elena, finally received a teaser trailer on April 11. The trailer also revealed that the character will be released on the same date as the Nintendo Switch 2’s launch, June 5.
Elena is the final character to be added to the game under the second season’s DLC characters. She was first introduced to the Street Fighter series in Street Fighter 3: New Generation. The character fights using capoeira.
She has an infamous reputation within the community due to her Street Fighter 4 iteration, where Elena was considered a broken character. She was the only one who could heal herself using a super move, and it’s expected that she will retain that ability.
Since the second season DLC characters are coming to a close, Capcom is expected to release information about the next season after Elena’s release.
Rumors have already been floating around regarding the next characters to be added to the game. According to a leaker, there’s a high chance that Alex, Sagat, C. Viper, and Ingrid will be the third season’s DLC characters. However, they have no history of past leaks.
Street Fighter 6 is a fighting game released in 2023 for the PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game won Best Fighting Game at the Game Awards 2023.
