Apple Arcade Adds Five New Games Next Month

Five new games are coming to Apple Arcade on May 1, 2025, including What the Clash?, LEGO Friends Heartlake Rush +, Words of Wonders: Search +, Sumi Sumi: Matching Puzzle + and a title called With My Buddy.

The new and the fourth installment of What the … ? franchise from Triband Games called What the Clash? will be exclusive to Apple Arcade.

This quirky, fast-paced multiplayer game will feature Triband styled take on minigames like table tennis, archery, racing and tag. It is worth noting that this time, Triband’s title won’t feature just a simple multiplayer minigame collection as it is evolved with a solo mode and modifier cards players can use to create absurd combos like giraffle toasty archery or sticky tennis.

StoryToys Limited, in its turn, is bringing a racing game, Lego Friends Heartlake Rush +, with such characters from the Lego Friends series as Stephanie, Ethan, Mia, Olivia, Andrea, Emma, Liam, and Daniel, in a hot dog costume.

All the vehicles are customizable with stickers, trails, and different toppers. The game allows players to collect various treasures while completing missions and exploring a city.

Japanese developer Imagineer brings to Apple Arcade Sumi Sumi: Matching Puzzle+ based on kawaii characters such as Rilakkuma, Sumikko Gurashi, Tarepanda, etc. 

Crossword game Words of Wonders: Search+ is also about to join the roster of Apple Arcade’s titles, bringing offline puzzles of English worlds.

Another Japanese developer, Neilo Inc., has merged concepts of its two previous pet simulation games, With My Cat and With My Dog, to bring a new title named With My Buddy that allows players to have multiple virtual pets, both cats and dogs, simultaneously.

As of time of writing, Apple Arcade offers a catalog of over 200 games which gets expanded with regular monthly additions.
