Hades II is coming to Nintendo Switch consoles of both generations in 2025 ahead of other platforms, according to the statements from the new Creator’s Voice video published on the Nintendo of America YouTube channel and Supergiant Games’ announcement via a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Hades II, the sequel to Hades (2020), is a roguelike dungeon crawler developed and published by Supergiant Games. The game has been in early access on PC since May 2024 and has already won the title of Most Promising Game (Independent Game) at the UCG Game Awards.
The title follows Melinoë, Princess of the Underworld and sister to Zagreus, the protagonist of the first game who aims to defeat Chronos, the Titan of Time, with the aid of other Olympian Gods.
As of now, according to multiple estimates, total sales of the first part of the Hades series have reached around 9.9 million units across PC, both Windows and macOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, iOS via Netflix Games.
