Astro Bot is a 2024 3D platformer developed by Team Asobi and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 5. The sequel to Astro’s Playroom (2020) was released as part of PlayStation’s 30th-anniversary celebration, showcasing the PS5’s DualSense controller capabilities.

The BAFTA Games Awards, officially known as the British Academy Games Awards, have been presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) since February 2004. The 2025 ceremony will mark the 21st edition of the awards and the fourth consecutive year they are held at Queen Elizabeth Hall.
This year’s nominees across 17 competitive categories were selected from a longlist of 58 games, narrowed down from an initial pool of 247 eligible titles. All submitted games were released between Nov. 25, 2023, and Nov. 15, 2024, and were reviewed by BAFTA’s 1,300 members.
