Star Wars Tactics Game From XCOM Devs to Debut at Celebration Japan

A new Star Wars tactical turn-based game will share first-look details on April 19 – the title is being published by Respawn Entertainment and developed by Bit Reactor. The game development studio Bit Reactor features numerous developers who previously worked on the XCOM franchise, a renowned strategy game series.
Development for the new Star Wars game is being led by XCOM veterans who drew inspiration from the XCOM series. The upcoming title will build upon established turn-based gameplay mechanics while adding new innovations and story elements.
Official details for the upcoming Star Wars tactical turn-based game will be shared on April 19 from 4:30-5:30 PM, live on the Galaxy Stage in Japan. The time is presumed to be JST, Japan’s local time zone. The broadcast is part of the Star Wars Japan 2025 Celebration event.

As of the beginning of April, the Star Wars turn-based game has no official title or official gameplay, but leaks have been circulating the internet. The leaks display the title as “Star Wars Bruno. The platforms which the upcoming Star Wars turn-based tactics game, currently codenamed ‘Bruno,’ will release on are not known, but a leaked screenshot does shows the Xbox menu button.
