Los Ratones became the champions of the League of Legends EMEA Masters Winter 2025, with the tournament setting a new viewership benchmark.
The Grand Finals, where UK-based Los Ratones secured victory over the French team Ici Japon Corp. Esports with a 3:0 score, reached a peak of 484,533 viewers, the highest ever recorded for the event.
According to esports data platform Esports Charts, EMEA Masters Winter 2025 marks the most-watched iteration of EMEA Masters in its history, surpassing the previous record of 377,531 peak viewers set during the European Masters Spring 2021 Final between JD Excel and Karmine Corp.
Held from March 17 to 23, the Winter 2025 edition of EMEA Masters saw 16 teams battle it out for a €40,000 prize pool. Despite the Winter 2025 tournament’s shorter air time, just under 32 hours compared to the 85 hours of its predecessor, this year’s event amassed 5.7 million watch hours.
The EMEA Masters Winter 2025 is the fifteenth edition of Europe’s premier semi-professional tournament involving 13 League of Legends European Regional Leagues (ERL). Previously known as EU Masters, this is the fifth edition of the tournament after uniting EU, TR, CIS, and MENA as the EMEA region.
