Gematsu spotted Wuthering Waves, a gacha game made by KURO GAMES, to have a page on Steam. However, the page is missing a release date.
According to SteamDB, the game was first seen in the database on February 5, 2025. This means that the game was already there and was just waiting for the reveal. Come March 20, the page for Wuthering Waves has actually appeared. This information came from Gematsu who first spotted the page.
According to the replies from the Gematsu post, the Steam page of the game is actually using screenshots that are currently not in the game, but instead in Wuthering Waves’ version 2.2 which is expected to come out on March 27.
Later today, Wuthering Waves will have a special broadcast about the aforementioned version. It’s also expected that the developers will talk about the game being added to Steam in the same live stream.
Wuthering Waves was released in 2024 for mobile and the Epic Games Store for PC. A PlayStation 5 version followed on January 2, 2025, with a macOS version releasing on March 27. Famitsu rated the game 34/40. Before its release, the game had over 30 million pre-registered users.
