- Palworld’s newest update added cross-play, balance changes, and new furniture.
- The new update also included a photo mode.
- Palworld is currently in hot water as Nintendo is preparing a lawsuit against the studio behind it.
Palworld’s much-awaited cross-play update also includes a few items as well as a photo mode. The update dropped on March 19 on all platforms.
Palworld’s v0.5.0 update finally adds the requested cross-play feature. At launch, Palworld players had a problem playing with other players who have the game on other platforms. What’s worse is that if the player has the PC Game Pass version of the game, they still cannot play together with the player owning a Steam version.
This update aims to fix that issue and will now allow players to team up whether they’re using an Xbox, PlayStation, or PC. The update also included a Global Palbox, a storage device that players can use to transfer their Pals between worlds.
Dimensional Pal Storage is also being introduced in this update. This storage has the capacity 10 times of the regular Palbox. Alongside this, the patch introduced the Drafting Table which allows players to combine low-rarity blueprints to create higher-rarity ones. Photo mode was also added. The full patch notes is available on their Steam news tab.
Palworld was released in early access back in 2024. Its very similar way of catching Pals to Pokémon has landed Pocket Pair–the creators of Palworld–in hot water as Nintendo is currently preparing a lawsuit against the studio.
