Final Fantasy 7 dominated the Famitsu Game Awards 2024, winning seven awards out of 17. Another game from Square Enix, Final Fantasy 14, won Best Online Game of 2024.

On March 15, Famitsu published the winners of the Famitsu Awards 2024. The categories spanned from Game of the Year to Rookie Award and Special Award. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth dominated the awards show, winning Game of the Year, Best Scenario, and Best RPG among many others.

Metaphor: ReFantazio snagged the Best Music award from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which has always been one of Final Fantasy’s strongest suit. Aside from the Best Music award, Metaphor: ReFantazio also won the Rookie Award.
