God of War Celebrates 20th Anniversary with In-Game Update for Ragnarök and New Merchandise

Santa Monica Studios is celebrating their 20th anniversary for the God of War franchise. The devs are adding an in-game update for God of War Ragnarok called Dark Odyssey Collection.

This update adds a gift for everyone who owns the game on either PlayStation or PC at no additional cost. Dark Odyssey Collection includes cosmetics for Kratos, including weapons, shields, and armor. In addition, there are new skins for companions Freya and Atreus. 

The 20th anniversary also adds debuts new merchandise, massive PC sales, free access for PlayStation Premium members, and more.

20th Anniversary Gallery Nucleus Exhibition

• Live Dates: Saturday, March 15 – Sunday, March 23

This exhibition allows players to witness artworks “inspired by the past twenty years of God of War.” The event takes place in Los Angeles, California, and features concept art from the games alongside unique memorabilia – celebrating legacy through art.

PlayStation Plus members can receive God of war Rangarok on the Game Catalog – PlayStation Plus Premium members and Extra Members can get the game for no additional cost. 

The same applies God of War (2018), while God of War III Remastered is part of the Classics Catalogue (Premium Members).
