Key points
  1. ASURAJANG, an action battle royale game, will be released on PC on March 27.
  2. The game is also arriving on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on a later date.
  3. D-ZARD, a Korean studio, is developing the game.

ASURAJANG, a free-to-play action battle royale game being developed by D-ZARD, will be released on PC on March 27. The game was also announced on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

The game will first see release on Steam with the console versions to follow. According to its Steam page, each game will have 33 players. They are also able to puck from more than 12 characters that have different abilities and ultimates.

The developers mentioned that ASURAJANG’s combat is similar to fighting games, in which players will have to master combos and counters. Aside from this, characters also have ultimates that can change the course of the fight.

From what the game has shown in its trailer, its system is pretty similar to another game that was released last year, Supervive. Supervive is also a free-to-play action battle royale that also puts emphasis on positioning, combos, and dodging. The way the map is laid out in Asurajang also looks pretty similar to Supervive.

The biggest difference between the two is ASURAJANG’s focus on combos and counters which Supervive doesn’t have.

D-ZARD is a Korean studio with only two games under their belt, ASURAJANG being one of them. The other one is a new Princess Maker game being developed which incorporates Live2D animation, the same animation software that Virtual YouTubers usually use.
