Silent Hill Transmission To Happen on March 13, Will Focus on Silent Hill f

- A Silent Hill Transmission stream is set to happen on March 13.
- The stream will focus on the upcoming Silent Hill f.
- Silent Hill f’s main writer is Ryuikishi07, a writer popular for their When They Cry franchise.
The official Twitter account of Silent Hill has posted about an upcoming Silent Hill Transmission happening on March 13 at 3:00 P.M. PDT. The presentation will focus more on the upcoming game, Silent Hill f.
Together with three other projects, Silent Hill f was announced at a Silent Hill Transmission stream in October 2022. The game is set in Japan, a completely new place for the Silent Hill franchise. The game is being developed by NeoBards Entertainment, a studio who had their hands on a couple Resident Evil projects as well as Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.
The most surprising aspect of the project is Ryukishi07’s involvement. Ryukishi07 will take the role of the main writer in Silent Hill f, taking his expertise in macabre horror and putting a Silent Hill twist on it. Ryukishi07 is the writer behind When They Cry, a widely successful Japanese visual novel with a lot of anime and live-action adaptations.
Ryukishi07’s influence has already bared itself with the setting of Silent Hill f being in the countryside, quite similar to the settings of When They Cry.
Silent Hill f currently has no release date. Konami also has not announced the platforms the game is going to be available on. The upcoming Silent Hill Transmission is expected to provide more information about these.
Konami’s latest Silent Hill game was the remake of Silent Hill 2. The game was released in October 2024 for the PC and PlayStation 5. Silent Hill 2 received a score of 87/100 on Metacritic for its PC version.
