A new fan-made mod titled Baldur’s Village merges the world of Baldur’s Gate 3 with Stardew Valley. It brings Baldur’s Gate 3-themed characters, locations, items, and events into the famous farm life simulator.
The Baldur’s Village mod is now available for download on Nexus Mods, offering 20 new characters to Stardew Valley players, including Astarion, Karlach, Shadowheart, Gale, Lae’zel, Wyll, and Halsin. On top of that, the mod adds six new regions, events, and themed items from Baldur’s Gate 3.
The mod doesn’t stop there as Astarion, the charismatic vampire rogue from Baldur’s Gate 3, comes with a romantic storyline. On top of that, mod’s developer promises that romance options will be expanded to other characters, starting with Halsin in future updates.

Players can find the entrance to Baldur’s Village to the north of Pelican Town, right by Linus’ tent, opening the door to the crossover. The mod integrates seamlessly with the main game, requiring no new save file. Baldur’s Village is also compatible with other popular mods like Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and East Scarp.
To install the mod, players will need a few essentials, including the Content Patcher, Portraiture, and SMAPI mods. The creators behind the mod have also promised future updates, adding not just more romance options but also more in-game events.
In addition to fan-made mods, Stardew Valley is expected to receive official updates in the long run. Even though developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone is currently focused on his new project, The Haunted Chocolatier, he has mentioned that the farm simulation game could continue to receive support for the next 50 years.

As of December 2024, Stardew Valley has sold over 41 million copies across all platforms, including 26 million copies on PC and 7.9 million on Nintendo Switch. Also, it is worth noting that in 2016, Valve reported that Stardew Valley was in the top 24 revenue-generating games on Steam.
