A limited playtest for the next Battlefield game will begin on March 7, exclusively for select PC players. This date was revealed by Insider Gaming. The Battlefield Labs test provides early access to a small group of participants, allowing them to experience and evaluate the game’s development.
The playtest is open to players in Europe and North America only. The official Battlefield Labs website has instructions on how to sign up. For the first Battlefield Labs play test, players will have approximately two hours to experience the title,
These tests are available by invite only – meaning it is not open for everyone. The participants are reportedly prohibited from recording, sharing, and discussing the test, meaning there will likely be little to no news regarding the playtest.
As of the end of 2024, the Battlefield franchise had sold approximately 90 million units worldwide. Battlefield 2042, the most recent installment in the franchise, was met with mixed to negative reception upon release.
