- Destiny 2’s Rite of the Nine event allows casual Destiny 2 players to learn dungeons at their own pace.

Destiny 2’s New Rite of the Nine is an upcoming event that allows newer players to learn dungeons. The event is expected to arrive this April.
Rite of the Nine is a free limited-time event that provides players three options before entering the dungeon: Explorer, Eternity, and Ultimatum. Eternity ramps the difficulty of the dungeon by a little, while Ultimatum is made for hardcore players wanting more of a challenge.
Explorer mode gives players time to learn the dungeon. The difficulty of the dungeon is toned down and it also includes tooltips for players to read, so they can understand the encounter’s mechanics. The dungeons participating in this event are Prophecy, Spire of the Watcher, and Ghosts of the Deep. They rotate weekly.
Explorer mode feeds into the other modes as well, as both Eternity and Ultimatum require players to survive as long as possible because deaths will reduce the score of the fireteam. The developers mentioned that the higher the score in the dungeon, the better the rewards. Ultimatum mode is also the mode that will drop Adept weapons which roll for an additional perk and have an animated holofoil pattern.
Destiny 2 recently launched Heresy, its latest DLC, introducing new story content and weapons. The Final Shape’s launch propelled the game to over 77,000 concurrent players on Steam.
