Activision delayed Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone season 3, changing the decision from March 20 to April 3. This is a two week delay from the originally planned release schedule.
“Season 03 is a big moment for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6, and we’re taking the time to deliver a great experience starting on April 3,” Activision said on X.
“More to come following Call of Duty: Warzone’s 5th anniversary next week,” they teased.
This means the season 2 battle pass will get extended for two weeks, granting players more time to grind out the limited time rewards, which includes a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration.
No official news was revealed regarding the “big moment” planned for Season 3 in Call of Duty: Black ops 6 and Warzone – but an update regarding Season 3 is expected on March 10, which is the official Warzone 5th Anniversary date.
As for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the game released on October 25, 2024. The game became the biggest release in the franchise’s history with unprecedented day-one player counts and new Game Pass subscribers. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was the best-selling title of 2024 and ranked #1 in U.S. video game sales in January 2025.
