- Parallel Experiment will now launch in June 2025, with simultaneous releases on Steam, Android, and iOS.
- The game’s developer, Eleven Puzzles, states that the delay will allow the implementation of all initially planned features, including crossplay.
- The upcoming title promises over 80 puzzles and 10 hours of cooperative gameplay.
The Steam version of the cooperative puzzler Parallel Experiment has been postponed to the simultaneous launch with Android and iOS on June 5, 2025. The Cryptis Killer series’ developer, Eleven Puzzles, announced the rescheduling via post on Facebook.
As the team behind the game explained, the delay is a result of a completely new challenge for them in light of the fact that the upcoming title is five times longer than the company’s previous game.
Developers had initially considered scaling back features to meet the original March deadline. But in the end, they decided to release the full game with its intended mechanics, challenges, and crossplay support for all promised platforms from day one.
Set in a noir-inspired world, Parallel Experiment places players in the roles of detectives Ally and Old Dog, protagonists known from the previous installments of the Cryptic Killer series Unboxing the Cryptic Killer and Unsolved Case.
Trapped in an experiment orchestrated by Cryptic Killer, players will need to cooperate to solve a series of more than 80 puzzles during the 10 hours of gameplay.
