- Monster Hunter Wilds are being spotted and sold in different stores in America.
- A French Monster Hunter fan has also allegedly gotten their game from a store in Paris early.
- Monster Hunter Wilds is set to release on February 28.
Monster Hunter Wilds is already being sold by storefronts a day early from its release date. A fan who spotted the game in Walmart was allegedly able to buy the game and play it.
The information came from a Reddit post by NateTrain that shows a picture of Monster Hunter Wilds already on one of the shelves of Walmart. According to them, they were able to purchase the game without any issue and can even play it. Fans on the thread don’t seem to doubt the post as they’ve also experienced similar things from Walmart.
One person said that the cashier probably doesn’t care and would just override the error message if there was one and then sell the game. However, other commenters are also saying that their local Walmarts don’t have the game on their shelves yet which implies that it might be dependent on where they live.
On the other side of the world, a French Monster Hunter fan is also reporting that they were able to receive an early copy of the game. They did not specify what store was selling the early copy of the game, however, they’ve posted a follow-up tweet.
“This is a night and day difference coming from the Beta,” reads the tweet. They also stated that the game is running a lot more fluidly in terms of frame rate for the PS5. They didn’t clarify whether they were using PS5 Pro or what graphics mode they were in.
Monster Hunter Wilds is set to release on February 28. The game had problems with optimization during the beta. Developers mentioned that they have since worked on it to make it a lot smoother, but the optimization changes they’ve worked on weren’t included in the latest beta. As such, players will only be able to experience it on the day of its launch.
