Steam revealed the minimum and recommended PC requirements for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which releases on August 28, 2025. The information was presented on the game’s sales page. 

The game is set to be sizable, requiring 100 GB of available storage. Minimum system requirements include 16 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super graphics card, which debuted in 2019.

The requirements for Metal Gear Solid Delta are relatively high, especially when compared to its predecessors. PC Gamer suggests the increase, particularly in GPU demands, stems from the game’s shift from Fox Engine to Unreal Engine for development. 

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a full remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater – a title that was originally released in 2004 for the PlayStation 2. The original title sold approximately 3.7 million units on solely on the PlayStation 2. As for the entire franchise, Meta Gear Solid has surpassed 60 million units sold across all its releases.
