  2. Lamine Yamal is the new game’s ambassador.
  3. Konami’s eFootball also gets updated licenses and a major visual overhaul

Konami’s eFootball gets a new ambassador, Lamine Yamal, along with a v4.3.0 update, which brings new Epic cards and license updates, two seasonal campaigns and updates to multiple leagues’ teams and player data.

The Carnival Campaign brings its own set of rewards, kicking off on Feb. 20, 2025. By completing specific objectives, players can rack up to 500 eFootball Coins, while a Challenge Event gives a chance to earn a Random Booster Token. Additionally, a special Carnival-inspired Strip is available for gamers who log in during the event period. The strip will remain in the inbox until March 20, 2025.

Carnival Campaign also features Legend: Brazilian LEGENDS Challenge where players can face off against AI teams with a Brazilian theme. Those tackling Superstar and Legend difficulty levels will earn a Random Booster Token and 20,000 Exp.

The Ramadan Campaign is also live now, highlighting players from FC Bayern Munich. Much like past campaigns that included out-of-position players from teams like Arsenal and Barcelona, this event brings a fresh take on footballers in unfamiliar roles.

The Ramadan campaign will net players three FC Bayern Munich Chance Deals and additional rewards like a Random Booster Token, Skill and Position Training Programs, 132,000 Exp., and 250,000 GP. During the event, gamers can also earn Ramadan ’25 Avatar Set, a themed in-game strip and 100 eFootball Coins. The campaign will continue until April 3, 2025, with new challenges rolling out in phases on Feb. 27 and March 6.

Among all the events and update details, eFootball also introduces the new game’s ambassador, Lamine Yamal, a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a winger for La Liga club Barcelona and the Spain national team.

On top of that, eFootball v4.3.0 brings updated licenses and a major visual overhaul. Bayer 04 Leverkusen has been reintroduced to the game, bringing with it the return of the Xabi Alonso manager version and official team kits. In addition, Liga BBVA MX has received a full revamp, with eFootball’s original designs replacing the league’s previous content.

This update also sees multiple leagues getting refreshed with updated team structures, including the Argentine, Chilean, Colombian, American, Korean, and J1 and J2 Japanese leagues. It is worth noting that v4.3.0 will also bring about 40 new Epic cards, which will be revealed later.

Besides that, eFootball v4.3.0 introduces a new Show Time skill: Acceleration Burst, a dynamic move that can be seen in the new Epic Acceleration Burst Neymar Jr. card, which is part of the Special Player List. The Brazilian superstar also comes alongside two more cards: Yamal and Kubo, both of which feature the same skill.

The gameplay experiences improvements to team data, player photos, boots, stadium graphics, and commentary within this update. Additionally, players may be required to provide parental consent when selecting certain countries or regions as their place of residence.
