Call of Duty: Recon Squad is Treyarch’s newest way of getting feedback from players. According to the developers, players will have a chance to be invited to the program and be able to participate in surveys, online community discussion boards, and they might even be invited to focus groups.
The Recon Squad is handled by Fuel Cycle, a community platform that provides brands a way to quickly see their insights. According to the blog post that contains the announcement, Fuel Cycle will focus primarily on Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6.
However, players cannot sign up for the Recon Squad. The community will be invite-only and players will receive their invitations via email related to their Activision ID. The developers also emphasized that they are inviting all kinds of players no matter their play time or what kind of modes they always play.
Participating in the surveys provided to the Recon Squad will give the player points. These points are redeemable for Warzone or Black Ops 6 in-game items. The post did not specify what in-game items are available to be redeemed.
