- Corsair CEO Andy Paul believes GTA VI will release on PC in early 2026.
- He speculated the release date based on industry trends and hardware demands.
- Rockstar typically releases PC ports after their console release.
In an earnings call, Corsair executives discussed the potential release date for GTA VI for PC – which they believe to be early 2026. The topic came up during a discussion regarding future gaming hardware and industry trends.
Ronald van Veen, VP Finance and Investor Relations at Corsair, stated, “what we really haven’t had for the last year or two is what we could call a Fortnite moment or PUBG moment.”
He is referring to the release of a massive IP that shakes up the entire gaming industry, setting a new standard for hardware capabilities alongside demand for various gaming accessories.
“GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console,” he said, inferring that the game’s release will shake up the industry in a way that both Fortnite and PUBG did once it releases in early 2026.
Corsair CEO Andy Paul also believes GTA VI will be released in 2026. “GTA 6, the most anticipated and hardware demanding game is now in sight, although still likely a year away,” he said on February 12, 2025.
Kotaku assumes the console release for GTA VI will be on October 28, 2025. And since Take-Two Interactive typically releases its PC ports soon after their console releases, the speculated PC release date aligns with other speculations circulating the internet.
