Spider-Man 2 Patch Fixes Crashes and Stability Issues

Nixxes Software released an update for Spider-Man 2 on February 13, addressing widespread criticism over the PC version’s poor optimization and technical issues at launch. According to the patch notes, the update includes multiple crash fixes and stability improvements based on player reports and internal data.
One of the major issues involved frequent crashes on AMD Radeon GPUs, which developers linked to initialization problems with the game’s Anti-Lag 2 SDK. Nixxes explained that the initialization process occurred even when the feature was disabled. While AMD is working on a driver update, the studio has temporarily removed Anti-Lag 2 from the game to improve stability for affected players.
