  3. Buying on initial release will be intensely competitive.

Nvidia officially announced that The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti will be released on February 20 at 6 am PT. Its initial market price upon release is $749, serving as a more affordable GPU upgrade when compared to the 5090 series.

According to wccftech, the new graphics card will be included in pre-built desktop computers – meaning not everyone has to know how to build a PC to enjoy the upcoming GPU.

Previous leaks indicated the same release date that Nvidia officially revealed, meaning much of the hardware community already anticipated the drop later this month.

The RTX 5070 Ti is a midranged graphics card, priced at a MSRP of $749. It comes with a GDDR7 memory type, which has a 16 GB memory capacity, 256 bit interface, and 896 GB/s bandwidth.

The RTX 5080 cost $999 at launch, while the RTX 5090 cost $1999 – these are base market prices posted on the official Nvidia website

Given that the RTX 5080 and 5090 sold out within seconds of their release, demand for the RTX 5070 Ti is expected to be similarly high. As a result, the 5070’s launch will likely follow the same pattern, with bots and scalpers attempting to purchase large quantities of available stock.
