  2. The exact titles have not been revealed

Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that several Assassin’s Creed remakes are in the works. As stated on the official Ubisoft News webpage, these remakes plan to revisit and enhance the franchise’s classic worlds.

“There are worlds in some of our older Assassins’ Creed games that are still extremely rich,” the CEO shared, answering a question regarding future variety in product releases.

“There will be plenty of experience variety. The goal is to have Assassin’s Creed games come out regularly, but not for it to be the same experience every year.”

He is essentially emphasising the company’s desire to seek variety in upcoming releases, aiming for regular Assassin’s Creed titles without repeating the gameplay experience each year. But he made no confirmation regarding the exact titles being reworked.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise is known for its appeal of playing as an assassin and exploring open-world maps rooted in historical fiction, a feature that Assassin’s Creed 4:

Black Flag executed particularly well. Speculation has arisen that this 2013 title could be among the candidates for a remake, given its popularity and significant fan following.

Many fans to this day believe Assissin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is the best game in the series, rightfully earning its 10 million copies sold during its release year. No release date or other specifications for the remakes have been officially announced.

Future confirmed Assassin’s Creed projects include Hexe and Shadows, with Shadow releasing on March 20, 2025 and Hexe releasing in the unforeseeable future.
