The developers of Marvel Snap, Second Dinner, changed the game’s publishers from Nuverse to Skystone Games to make sure it doesn’t get removed from the App Store and Play Store again in the U.S.

On January 29, Second Dinner released a statement notifying its players that they’re moving from Nuverse to the California-based publisher Skystone Games. Marvel Snap was the unfortunate collateral damage of the TikTok ban in the U.S. on January 19. It followed TikTok’s shutdown due to being published by Nuverse, a subsidiary of the company that owns TikTok, ByteDance. Not only that, the app was also unlisted on the U.S. App Store and Play Store.

This shutdown was not expected by Second Dinner. Prompting them to tweet about it on January 19 to inform the players affected. Then on January 25, the developers released another statement, but this time it was about compensation.

The compensation was divided into two: U.S. players and non-U.S. players.
