Fields of Mistria is a life and farming simulation RPG. Released in Steam Early Access in August 2024, the game has carved a niche for itself with its 90s anime-inspired aesthetic reminiscent of Sailor Moon and Ranma 1/2. Its November 2024 update introduced significant new content, and the March 2025 update is also about bringing multiple new features, such as:

  • A villager named Caldarus, a new character who joins the set of Mistria’s NPCs;
  • A gossip mechanic with Elsie, enabling players to uncover NPCs’ favorite gifts;
  • Additional NPC dialogues and schedules;
  • Fire Seal quest;
  • Next Mines Biome;
  • New Mines monsters;
  • New spells;
  • Town growth gets a boost with the Deep Woods area;
  • Additional requests added to the Request Board;
  • New Festival;
  • Increased Renown cap, raised by 20 levels;
  • More options to personalize farms and characters with new farmland expansions, furniture, decor, and cosmetics;
  • Addition of pets and quality-of-life mechanics like sprinklers and auto-petters.

Looking beyond March, NPC Studio’s roadmap teases marriage and children mechanics. The roadmap also hints at future festivals, additional skills and perks, and even performance optimization to ensure a smoother experience for players.

In the first week, Fields of Mistria was downloaded over 100,000 times, and by the end of the first month, total downloads surpassed 250,000.
