PlayStation Plus January Lineup Brings God of War Ragnarök, Like a Dragon Gaiden, and More

Sony has unveiled the January additions to its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, and the games will be available to subscribers starting Jan. 21.
The standout addition is God of War Ragnarök 2022 (PS4, PS5) by Santa Monica Studio. As of the latest stats, God of War Ragnarök has sold over 15 million units worldwide. The game had a record-breaking launch, selling 5.1 million copies in its first week, making it the fastest-selling first-party title in PlayStation history.
A spin-off of the Like a Dragon series, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (PS4, PS5), developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega in 2023, is also joining the catalog.
Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand (PS5), developed by studio Deck13 and published by Focus Entertainment, offers an expanded experience with revamped progression, new quests, and enhanced gameplay. The game supports multiplayer gameplay, allowing gamers to play it alone or in online two-player co-op.
Mech combat fans will appreciate SD Gundam Battle Alliance (PS4, PS5), developed by ARTDINK and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment in 2022. The game allows you to play solo or In multiplayer with up to 2 other players in a 3-person team.
Sony is also adding two classics to the PlayStation Plus Premium lineup: 2009th Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and 2000th Medievil II. These enhanced versions of the original PlayStation and PlayStation 2 titles feature up-rendering, rewind functionality, and custom video filters.
Other titles that are joining the January lineup of PlayStation Plus:
- Sayonara Wild Hearts 2019 (PS4), an arcade-style rhythm action video game developed by Simogo and published by Annapurna Interactive;
- ANNO: Mutationem 2022 (PS4, PS5) developed by ThinkingStars and published by Lightning Games;
- Orcs Must Die! 3 2020 (PS4, PS5) developed and published by Robot Entertainment;
- Citizen Sleeper 2022 (PS4, PS5) by Jump Over the Age and published by Fellow Traveller;
- Poker Club 2020 (PS4) by Ripstone.
This announcement coincides with a significant update for PlayStation Portal, which now allows Premium subscribers to test Cloud Streaming (Beta) for select PS5 titles in the Game Catalog.
