She vanquished eight fearsome monsters known as the Benevodons—referred to as “God Beasts” in early versions—and imprisoned them within eight Mana Stones. Afterward, she transformed into the Mana Tree and drifted into slumber. The game unfolds during a crisis when the essence of Mana begins to wane, shattering the tranquility. Dark forces conspire to release the Benevodons from their imprisonment, seeking to harness ultimate power for themselves.
