This game shines with its engaging multiplayer experience, known as “Arcade,” where up to four players can go head-to-head against ten AI-controlled bots or team up in various modes. Featuring six dynamic multiplayer modes, players can customize aspects such as weapons, maps, objectives, and character management for a truly unique experience. Additionally, the game boasts a robust level editor, empowering players to design their own levels using a rich selection of pre-made tiles. With the ability to adjust lighting settings for each tile and incorporate various items into the map, the creative possibilities are endless.
Set across nine imaginative locations spanning from 1935 to 2035, this exhilarating narrative follows 18 unique characters as they battle against their personal enemies and the relentless “TimeSplitters” they partner with. In each level, players can select from two mission-specific characters, engaging in thrilling combat against foes while navigating through the environment to retrieve essential items. Once players grab the objective, they must fend off an onslaught of TimeSplitters—malevolent mutant creatures that emerge continuously and challenge the player’s survival as they race to the exit portal.
