In the enchanting adventure of Samorost 3, a magical flute mysteriously drops near the Gnome’s home, setting off a cosmic quest. This curious Gnome embarks on an epic journey across the universe to uncover the origins of the flute. He teams up with a clever engineer to craft a toadstool rocket using scrap parts from his planet. As he hops from planet to planet, the Gnome encounters various quirky creatures, aiding them in their quests with the enchanting power of the flute.
During his travels, the Gnome stumbles upon two beautifully illustrated books that reveal the flute’s connection to four peaceful monks. The serene life of the monks is disrupted by a colossal orange space octopus that emerges from a dark wormhole, devouring entire worlds. Foreseeing the impending threat, the monks consult the same engineer from the Gnome’s home to design a futuristic three-headed watering spaceship, equipped with flutes that allow them to fly, and a powerful mechanical knight fueled by a mysterious black orb, capable of combating the octopus to save the cosmos. The knight manages to defeat the octopus, falls asleep on a remote moon, and the black orb is safeguarded by a vigilant monk.
