Ryu is summoned by the Japanese Self-Defense Force to confront a dangerous terrorist faction led by the enigmatic alchemist known as the Regent of the Mask, who has a personal vendetta against the legendary Dragon Ninja. When Ryu faces off against the alchemist at the Prime Minister’s estate in London, he is cursed with the Grip of Murder, a dark force that feeds on the lives he has taken, resulting in the Dragon Sword being absorbed into his arm. Later, alongside JSDF operative Mizuki McCloud, Ryu witnesses the Regent’s chilling ultimatum: nations must surrender within seven days or face total destruction.
