Melty Blood

Tohno Shiki discovers a chilling series of murders in Misaki that mirror the events of Tsukihime. While tracking down the killer, he encounters Sion Eltnam Atlasia, who confronts him in battle, aiming to capture him. After their clash, she reveals her motive: she wants to connect with the “True Ancestor,” referring to Arcueid, to obtain information about a “vampirism cure.” Motivated by her cause, Shiki agrees to assist her in this quest.

As a follow-up to the beloved visual novels Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya, Melty Blood is an exciting blend of visual novel and fighting game elements. The narrative unfolds through intense battles, and the outcome of each conflict influences the storyline, leading to one of several possible endings based on your choices.

The earlier PC versions featured immersive adventure-style tales with branching narratives and numerous endings, complemented by an arcade mode with its own secondary storyline. Subsequent releases shifted focus to the arcade mode while introducing a richer roster of characters, enhancing the gaming experience.
