Lollipop Chainsaw
Lollipop Chainsaw is the thrilling adventure of the fierce zombie hunter Juliet Starling, as she embarks on a mission to unravel the mystery behind a massive zombie apocalypse. Armed with her powerful chainsaw, Juliet slashes and dices her way through countless waves of undead foes, only to discover that these zombies are just the beginning. She soon faces off against a lineup of formidable zombie rock lords, all intent on taking down the chainsaw-wielding cheerleader in this epic, action-packed quest.
On her 18th birthday, Juliet Starling (voiced by Tara Strong in English and Eri Kitamura/Yōko Hikasa in Japanese) heads to San Romero High School’s park to meet her boyfriend Nick Carlyle (voiced by Michael Rosenbaum in English and Kenichi Suzumura in Japanese) for the first time. But a zombie apocalypse breaks out, forcing Juliet to battle waves of the undead to reach Nick. When she arrives, she sees Nick fighting off a zombie that was about to attack her, but he gets bitten instead. Realizing he’s destined to become a zombie, Juliet is faced with the difficult choice of decapitating him to save his humanity.
To her surprise, Nick remains alive as just a head after Juliet performs a powerful ritual that prevents him from losing his soul to the zombie virus. She secures his head to her belt as they fight their way through hordes of zombies to meet her tutor, Morikawa (voiced by Bruce Locke in English and Bin Shimada in Japanese). Morikawa reveals that the universe is split into three realms: Earth, the Land Beyond Words, and the Rotten World, which is infested with demons and zombies. It turns out that a portal between Earth and the Rotten World has been opened using dark magic and explosives. After a series of intense battles, they learn the evil goth Swan (voiced by Sean Gunn in English and Nobuhiko Okamoto in Japanese) is behind the zombie
