Dying Light is an exhilarating first-person action survival horror experience, immersing players in a massive, treacherous open world. In the devastated city of Harran, a deadly viral outbreak has transformed the majority of its residents into frenzied zombie-like creatures, prompting the Defense Ministry to enforce a strict quarantine. The Global Relief Effort (GRE) supports the remaining survivors by conducting regular supply airdrops. To retrieve a stolen sensitive file from the nefarious Kadir Suleiman, who threatens to expose it for his personal gain, the GRE recruits Kyle Crane. He is parachuted into Harran but quickly finds himself ambushed by ruthless bandits. During the chaos, he gets bitten and infected, but is saved by Jade Aldemir and Amir Ghoreyshi, the latter sacrificing himself to give them a chance to escape to a safe haven known as the Tower.

After a tense mission nearly costs Tower leader Harris Brecken his life, the urgency for Antizin escalates.
