- These stats were shared on April 11.
Atomfall celebrated its 2 million total players milestone – a stat that was shared on April 11, two weeks after the game’s initial release for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. They also shared other numbers, which included the most popular food options alongside the amount that was consumed, caches found, and even pints of beer ordered.
“CITIZENS OF WYNDHAM, You’ve all been working so hard in our community, we’ve pinned up some interesting facts about your contribution, flourishing under PROTOCOL,” Rebellion Developments, the studio behind Atomfall, shared on Twitter.
The action-survival title’s release represents Rebellion’s most successful game launch to date. After initially passing 1 million players, the CEO of the studio released a statement:
“To have surpassed the one million players in such a short space of time speaks volumes for the creativity and dedication of the entire team here at Rebellion. Our size and stability mean that we can take risks to create something as different as Atomfall. Happily, that risk is paying off,” Jason Kingsley said.
Atomfall takes place in an alternate history of Britain – set in 1962. The title is a single-player, first-person action-survival game, which currently costs $49.99 on Steam. It is available for free on Xbox Game Pass, which undoubtedly added to the 2 million total players milestone.
