- Firing Range is returning to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on April 3.
- A tweet from Treyarch’s official Twitter account hinted at the map.
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was released in October 2024 and had “generally favorable” reviews.
A post from Treyarch’s official Twitter confirms the return of Firing Range to Call of Duty. The map is expected to be added to the game on April 3, the start of Black Ops 6’s third season.
A Treyarch tweet with the caption “Home, home on the Range…” was posted on March 27. Accompanying it is an image of a map, specifically, the Firing Range. The map was first added to Call of Duty: Black Ops and has seen returns from every Black Ops since, sans Black Ops Cold War. Now, it’s Black Ops 6’s time to receive the fan-favorite map.
The Firing Range is expected to be added on April 3, coinciding with the game’s third season. This update is part of a huge patch that also sees the return of Verdansk in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Early in March, a rumor from a Call of Duty leaker mentioned that Verdansk might be the final effort of the developers to retain or capture players. If the plan fails, there might not be a Warzone 3.0.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was released in October 2024 for the PlayStation 4 & 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game received generally favorable reviews, amounting to an 83/100 on Metacritic.
