Supercell has unveiled the 2025 esports roadmap for its popular MOBA hero shooter Brawl Stars, which outlines a year of competitive action featuring a new international event, revamped ranked integration, and a $2 million prize pool distributed throughout the season.

The new addition to the Brawl Stars esports scene in 2025 is the Brawl Cup, scheduled for the second quarter. This international tournament will pit eight teams against each other in a battle for a coveted spot in the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) or even a direct invite to the World Finals, depending on their region.

Brawl Stars Championship 2025 Roadmap

Supercell has hinted at integrating the game’s ranked playlist into the competitive experience. While details are scarce, this move suggests a potential pathway for skilled players to climb the ranked ladder and potentially qualify for future Brawl Stars esports events.

The 2025 Brawl Stars esports circuit kicks off with a series of six seasons, each featuring Championship Challenges, monthly qualifiers, and monthly finals. The first Championship Challenge commences on January 31st, offering players a chance to fight their way to February’s monthly qualifiers.

This year’s monthly qualifiers will boast a new seeding structure, along with a privilege for esports organizations participating in the Brawl Stars partner program. These partner teams will receive automatic qualification for the second day of the monthly qualifier bracket.

Brawl Stars is also expanding its reach by offering players in Southeast Asia and South Asia a chance to compete for spots through tournaments organized by LetsPlay.Live, a New Zealand-based event organizer.

Brawl Stars esports season will culminate in the World Finals, scheduled for November 2025. Leading up to this epic event, teams will battle through the Last Chance Qualifier tournament in October.

The 2024 World Finals, held at the inaugural SuperFest multi-title esports event, shattered viewership records, reaching a peak of over 1 million concurrent viewers and solidifying the 2024 World Finals as the most-watched Brawl Stars esports event to date.
