Genshin Impact 5.5 Update Debuts Two New Characters and New Explorable Region

Genshin Impact Version 5.5, “Day of the Flame’s Return,” releases on March 26, which debuts two new characters while opening up the new region of Natlan.
Version 5.5 adds Varesa – a 5-Star Unit that wields an Electro Catalyst and sits and stomps on her enemies as part of her attack combos. She is the poster child for the update, sporting bright pink hair, animal ears, and horns. Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm user, is also debuting as a part of Day of the Flame’s Return.
The trailer also debuted Ifa’s in-game model, a character that plays a pivotal role in the region of Natlan. Though he has not debuted as a playable character, Ifa’s appearance shook the fandom with speculations of his eventual release in Genshin Impact.
The update also opens up the new region of Natlan, where players can explore the Great Volcano of Tollan. New story elements and lore are sure to be revealed during this exploration.
