Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo is offically coming to the Nintendo Switch. The upcoming title releases on May 28, and will also be coming to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The title’s Nintendo Switch release was announced on March 13, revealed in a teaser trailer.

The retro 2D top-down action adventure title developed by PM Studio – an indie game studio that was founded in 2008.  A playable gameplay demo is currently available across the platforms – the game will cost $19.99 (USD) across platforms. 

Here are the recommended PC specs for the Steam version: 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or newer
  • Processor: Intel i5-6500, AMD A10-5800K, or newer
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 / Radeon HD 7510

Recommended Requirements:

  • 64-bit processor and operating system

Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo is a single player game – meaning there will be no cross-platform play. The title combines combat, platforming action, puzzle-solving, and exploration to create a “delightful character-driven story about corporate shenanigans!” 

The game has the player face off against rival crime entrepreneurs and their underlyings while using a yoyo. Pipistrello’s yoyo skills improve as the game progresses, allowing the player to traverse and reinterpret the landscape.
