Virtus.pro Claims Victory at Marvel Rivals Invitational 2025 EMEA

Virtus.pro won the 2025 Marvel Rivals Invitational for the EMEA region, securing a 4:2 victory against Team OG in the grand finals and earning a $40,000 prize.

The tournament ran in two stages, Swiss and double-elimination brackets, and culminated in the final showdown on March 9, 2025. In the grand finals, the series kicked off with Virtus.pro taking the first game 2:1 on Convoy, Spider-Islands, before Team OG, in its turn, gathered a 1:2 win in Domination on Hell’s Heaven. The match remained close throughout, but Virtus.pro edged out Team OG in the next two games, taking 2:1 victories on Convoy, Yggdrasil Path, and Midtown.

With the score at 3-2 in Virtus.pro’s favor, Team OG still had a chance to force a deciding match. However, Virtus.pro handled a 2:0 win on Domination, Birnin T’Challa.

Top placements and prize distribution:

• 2 – Team OG – $20,000,
• 3 – Fnatic – $12,000,
• 4 – Luminosity EU – $8,000,
• 5th/6th – Team Peps/Zero Tenacity – $6,000 each,
• 7th/8th – DUSTY/Twisted Minds – $4,000 each.

It is worth mentioning that on Feb. 23, 2025, In the Marvel Rivals Invitational 2025 Asia finals, U4RIA NLE defeated REJECT with a score of 4:3, receiving a $40,000 prize. 

A couple of days later, on Feb. 28, 2025, in the Marvel Rivals Invitational 2025 Oceania finals, Kanga Esports defeated Platinum Star with a score of 4:2, receiving the same $40,000 prize.

The next and final Invitational will take place in the North America region and is scheduled to occur from March 14 to March 23, 2025.
