Chinese Listing Confirms March 12 Release Date for Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D

According to a report by Wccftech, a listing on JD.com was spotted by a leaker, confirming the processors’ release date as March 12. JD.com is China’s largest direct-to-consumer retailer.
The leaker who spotted the listing goes by 9550pro on Twitter. In a tweet, they mentioned that the prices for the CPUs will be 5599 RMB ($772) and 4599 RMB ($634) for the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D, respectively.
Harukaze5719, another leaker on Twitter, linked to a Chinese website that includes information about the processor’s release date, which is confirmed to be on March 12. Rumors of Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D’s March 12 release had been already floating around since late February.
The Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D were first revealed on January 6 at CES 2025. According to AMD, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D will be 20% faster on average than Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K. It will also deliver better performance than Ryzen 9 7950X3D when it comes to content creation.
The Ryzen 9 9900X3D will be slightly weaker, with 12 cores and 24 threads, compared to the 9950X3D’s 16 cores and 32 threads. However, the former has a base frequency of 4.4 GHz, while the latter has a base frequency of 4.3 GHz.
AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT are its most recent products in the gaming sphere. The graphics cards have received high praise for their price and performance, with reviewers ultimately recommending them over Nvidia’s cards at the same price point.
