2K Announces WWE 2K25 DLC Roster Featuring NBA Players Ahead of Launch

The roster of characters for the upcoming 2025 WWE 2K25 DLCs was officially announced by 2K. The lineup includes three to-be-announced NBA stars and two special celebrity guests who will be revealed later as well.

WWE 2K25 is about to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on March 7 for Deadman and Bloodline Edition owners, while the standard edition arrives on March 14. The game’s upcoming DLCs will bring 25 playable characters, each with their own MyFACTION card.

In Season 2025, TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling) fighters will make their WWE video game debut. One of the biggest appearances is the inclusion of TNA standouts Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, better known as the Motor City Machine Guns. The duo, who spent years dominating the independent and TNA scenes, finally made their WWE debut in 2023. Now, they’ll officially step into the WWE 2K universe as part of the “New Wave Pack,” arriving in May 2025.

Another major addition is Abyss, the hardcore legend who never officially wrestled for WWE but will now be playable in a WWE video game for the first time. He’ll be part of the Dunk & Destruction Pack, launching in June, alongside WWE giant The Great Khali and three unannounced NBA stars.
